Leona is an Australian-born, Hong Kong (Chinese) who was born and raised in Brisbane. She is a bicultural clinician who can conduct therapy in English and Cantonese (Chinese).
Leona is a Registered Clinical Psychologist and Board-Approved Supervisor who holds a Professional Doctorate in Clinical Psychology from the Queensland University of Technology. Her strong interest in adolescent mental health motivated her to complete her doctoral research on the links between school belonging, family connectedness, acculturation and depressive symptoms among Anglo-Australian and Asian Australian youths. Leona is most passionate about helping young people and families, and deeply appreciates the unique qualities of every individual. She also has a strong interest in supervising and mentoring trainee psychologists and mental health professionals.

Currently, Leona competes in high-level Pickleball tournaments across the nation. She also enjoys spending time with her young family and two dogs.
